Aberdeen Quest website launches using Activedition
The Aberdeen Quest website powered by the Activedition content management system has launched to positive feedback from users.
Developed in conjunction with Activedition partner Lighthouse, the website showcases the city of Aberdeen's museum collections and is aimed at younger users. With "Take a Tour" and "Play a Game" functionality and learning aspects to the site, it is hoped that younger users will become more actively involved in their city's heritage.
Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums (AAGM) is collection of four buildings: the Art Gallery, Aberdeen Maritime Museum, the Tollbooth and Provest Skene's House. Aberdeen Quest explores these venues and provides a window into the artworks and objects that make up the City collection.
The website is managed by Aberdeen City Council and has been developed by C2 Software and designed by Lighthouse.
