Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council selects Activedition

BBSRC logoThe Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) has selected Activedition to drive its website, which is key to the organisation's communications strategy. The site is managed and run by a small central team that develops the site and co-ordinates input from colleagues across the organisation.

C2 Software, the company behind Activedition, worked closely with the BBSRC project team during the initial scoping phase. Activedition was selected for several reasons, including its rich out of the box functionality and flexible workflow. Activedition will be integrated with the Coveo search solution.

BBSRC is one of 7 Research Councils that work together as Research Councils UK (RCUK). It is funded from the Science Budget of the Government's Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS). It supports a total of around 1600 scientists and 2000 research students in universities and institutes in the UK.

Finlay Carmichael, Managing Director, C2 Software said "We are delighted to have been selected by BBSRC to help develop their website. So far we have had a very encouraging start to 2009 with new client projects and wins."
