Following on from C2’s tutorial video from 2015 “Learn how to Import and Export Data with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015” and the large number of follow-up requests, we decided to create a complimentary video tutorial. This blog demonstrates how to import related records in Dynamics 365 where there are two way relationships between the entities e.g. A Contact works for an Account and an Account has a Primary Contact. To address this requirement we will demonstrate how to import both Accounts and Contacts in Dynamics 365 at the same time by using Excel spreadsheets.

The following video demonstrates how to import the related records in Dynamics 365.

As demonstrated in the video, a Zip File is the best way of importing multiple CSV files at the same time.
