Microsoft has rebranded their Social Listening solution for Dynamics CRM which they now refer to as a Social Engagement platform. C2’s opinion is that Microsoft have applied this change because the solution has become much more than a listening channel. It has become an arena for business interaction and engagement for sales, marketing, and service teams to connect with customers, prospects, and partners.
With the Social Engagement product, users have insightful analytics with richer data and are able to gain a true understanding of their, business, customer sentiment, products and topics that matter most. Social Engagement is a unique tool which uses natural language processing and machine learning techniques for insight. Other key metrics include: volume trends, share of voice, text mining, and tag cloud visualisations.
Social Engagement helps businesses to build deeper relationships with their customers by engaging with social communities on Twitter or Facebook using either their corporate or personal profiles.
Social Engagement is customisable with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Microsoft Dynamics Marketing, on dashboards, or on any forms, like Accounts or Campaigns. Using Social Engagement with Dynamics CRM helps to mine leads, develop opportunities, and / or input to cases from social posts.
