Dynamics CRM supports a range of different business processes. This video blog looks at one of these business processes in detail – Workflows. Workflows in Dynamics CRM consist of a series of steps and rules that will run automatically or on-demand to help automate business processes.

Workflows can be configured to run on out-of-box or custom entities (record types) and can perform tasks such as sending emails, creating records, updating records or assigning ownership. Workflows can be initiated manually or automatically e.g. when a record is created or when specific fields are updated. They allow for simple, or complex automation of tasks within Dynamics CRM that can make an incredible difference in terms of both productivity and customer satisfaction.
